The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock is seeking 2 dedicated childcare workers to care for children aged 3 months to 4+ years.
Schedule:
- Sundays: 9:30 am–1:00 pm (with occasional afternoon hours)
- Occasional Fridays: 6:00–9:00 pm
- Additional days as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be a non-member of the congregation (as defined by the conflict-of-interest policy)
- Must complete a CPR and first aid certification within 3 months of hire (cost to be reimbursed by the Congregation)
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet children and parents upon arrival
- Maintain accurate attendance records
- Engage in active floor play with children
- Lead age-appropriate crafts and games
- Provide attentive supervision and positive interaction
- Clean and sanitize toys and play areas
