North Fork Reform Synagogue seeks a Hebrew School Teacher to instruct a group of
approximately 9 children one afternoon per week. The Hebrew School Teacher will also be responsible for providing children’s services during the High Holidays and on
other special occasions. In coordination with the Rabbi, the Hebrew School Teacher will provide instruction and preparation to a B’nai Mitzvah student in areas such as
leading the service independently and writing the D’var Torah. Each weekly class will
be three hours long, with extra hours needed for children’s services during holidays and for preparing a B’nai Mitzvah student. All classes go from September to June. The
schedule for classes will be determined with the teacher.
