SQL Database Administrator/Developer

We are looking for a motivated technical professional to join our team as a Database Administrator/Developer!

 

OVERVIEW:

This position will work closely with the IT leadership at one of our Healthcare Clients to support the implementation of their application
development goals.  Involvement will include managing /coordinating various application projects across the company as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with IT leadership on executing the Client’s application development objectives through team-focused and/or individual initiatives. 
  • This position will involve designing, programming and maintaining internal web-based applications based on the Client’s business needs.
  • Thoroughly document application architecture and functionality.
  • Maintain a familiarity with a variety of programming concepts, best practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A degree of creativity and latitude is needed in this position and in maintaining the Client’s internal applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least three years of professional experience developing applications in
    C++, C#, ASP .NET, WPF, or related Object-Oriented Programming
    languages, as well as MS SQL (SQL 2014-2019 preferred)
  • Experience with browser client development: HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • DW (and DM) experience in production level required
  • Outstanding communication, project management, and team collaboration skills required
  • Fluency in T-SQL, SSIS, view, stored procedure jobs
  • Scripting language ability (.NET, Java, Python)
  • Knowledge of ASP.Net web applications
  • Experience with SharePoint 2010 and above a plus
  • Tableau experience a plus
  • Azure, AWS experience and/or license is a plus
  • Powershell and/or Bash experience a plus
  • Experience in the Health Care industry a plus
  • Project management experience/know-how critical
  • Proficient at use of business-oriented technology applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
